God is Faithful

“Here is a trustworthy saying: If we died with him, we will also live with him; if we endure, we will also reign with him. If we disown him, he will also disown us; if we are faithless, he remains faithful, for he cannot disown himself.”        -2 Timothy 2:11-13 

Make it a Habit

Now we ask you, brothers, to respect those who work  hard among you, who are over you in the Lord and who admonish you. Hold them in the highest regard in love because of their work. Live in peace with each other. And we urge you, brothers, warn those who are idle, encourage the timid, help the weak, be patient with everyone. 15 Make sure that nobody pays back wrong for wrong, but always try to be kind to each other and to everyone else. Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. Do not put out the Spirit’s fire; do not treat prophecies with contempt. Test everything. Hold on to the good. Avoid every kind of evil. May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. The one who calls you is faithful and he will do it. Brothers, pray for us. Greet all the brothers with a holy kiss. I charge you before the Lord to have this letter read to all the brothers. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.

Be an Encourager!

“7 Therefore, brothers and sisters, in all our distress and persecution we were encouraged about you because of your faith. 8 For now we really live, since you are standing firm in the Lord.” -1 Thessalonians 3:7-8

The so-called Life

     When time comes that other people don’t understand you, that’s the time you need to understand them. The best time that God give for you to understand them.

     People have different perspective in life, different perception, different beliefs and different personality that we should be aware of. Sometimes, you misunderstood other people the way they act, you get offended the way they talk to you, you get hurt the way they treat you, and sometimes you feel that you failed because of them. Sometimes, you’re judged by other people because of your mistake, some people look at you because of your imperfection, some people criticize you because you sin differently from what they’ve done, some people look at you badly without looking themselves at the mirror. And the worst thing is because of others, you start blaming yourself and begin to create pity for yourself.
